If you are reading this, I may likely be on my way home from Ottawa, Ontario. I have been in Ottawa for the past week at the North American Society for Sport Management Annual Conference (conference website).

During the conference, there were a wide variety of sport management-related presentations, workshops, and discussions. Some were related to American college athletics, while other talks were about the entertainment aspect of professional sport.

First Sport Management Conference

This was my first major academic sport management conference. It

My second academic sport management conference will be in early-September, and I will travel to Europe to attend and present at the European Association for Sport Management 2015 conference. The presentation will be about partnerships between organizations and how these collaborations may help increase sport participation.
