Ostriches

Ostriches

Ostriches are unique animals.  What are they exactly?

Birds? They don’t fly!   Animals?  Yes, they are a member of the animal kingdom.

Inspiration

To me, ostriches are a symbol of life and people.

Their Heads

An ostrich will stick his/her head in the ground when coming across something unknown.

Herd Mentality

A pack of ostriches have a herd mentality.  When one puts his/her head in the ground, the rest follow.

Hope

It takes only one ostrich to lift his/her head for the rest to follow.  This encourages the other ostriches in the ostrich pack to follow suit.

People

People can be very much like ostriches.  Put their heads in the ground and hope that the challenge passes them and they are left untouched.  Others, are those set of first ostriches who have their head in the group, but are the first to rise.  They are the trailblazers.  Others, the followers.  Need both the trailblazer and the followers.

A Call To Action

Take a few minutes and reflect.  You are living your absolute ideal life (not to say you aren’t currently).  Where are you? What are you doing? How do you feel? What makes you excited and satisfied? What makes you upset or sad?
