12 Days of Christmas (Day 10)

12 Days of Christmas (Day 10)

Background

With the countdown to Christmas now in the final days, I made a 12 days of Christmas countdown list.  Based on the programs and organizations I am currently working for, 12 things that someone in the world has control to present to the world as a gift.  Enjoy.

Day 10

On the tenth day of Christmas, my true love sent to me, a life expectancy for me to live long enough to see ten current third-world countries leap over all of the G20 countries in terms of economics, political health, and freedoms, then for these ten countries to turn around and unselfishly offer to help the G20 countries in their times of need.

A Call To Action

We must never forget the saying, ‘what goes around, comes around.’ This should not be the only thing that motivates us to help and serve others currently unable to live a just and dignified life.  However, eventually Africa is going to surpass the current G20 countries.  The way we treat many of these countries, I think it would not be unreasonable for them to turn around and treat ‘great’ countries such as Canada and the USA the same way these countries currently treat South America and Africa (i.e., as personal piggy banks).
