What is a reflection?  What are you seeing when you see a reflection of yourself?

Here is a photo of the Liverpool Eye in the windows of ECHO Arena (located in the historic city of Liverpool, England) – scroll down below for the picture.

The Photo

Before continuing, take a quick look at the photo.  I greatly enjoy taking reflection photos.  I have taken a few around the world – Seattle, Calgary, Liverpool, Toronto, to name a few.  Why?

I think it is very humbling.  It allows me some time to stop and think.  It is surreal to think that as an individual human being, I will never actually be able to look at myself.  All I will ever see is mirrored images and photographs (and no, this does not provide permission for people to take my photo).

This being said, the tool of self-reflection is powerful and effective.  It helps us understand ourselves, and who we want to be (our ideal-self).  It aids in our staying on trajectory when we are trying to intentionally change something.  Reflections helps us remember, learn, and discover what we developed from, why we are here, and where we can go.

Your Call To Action

Take some time, and notice the beautiful and amazing world around you.  It is absolutely beautiful and wonderful.    What life thoughts or life lessons does nature stimulate in your mind?
