The King and His Court

A very interesting sports story.

Eddie Feigner, the leader of The King and His Court baseball team understood a lot about leadership.

He led the team of four baseball players (3 plus himself) against teams across the country. And they won! Four players against nine on a baseball diamond.

This is a great story about how teamwork and knowing which position to place each player for maximum coverage built the best team. If the first baseman had to leave first to get a hit, the pitcher would quickly go cover, and so forth for all four players.

They each had a title (pitcher, catcher, etc), yet knew enough about the role of their teammates to cover each position.

The practice and teamwork outweighed the quantity.

Four makes a team

Why four? If bases were loaded, needed someone to hit them all home.
